dont

'dont', my third track—a concoction of woollen hushed tones, drenched in short tape delays and spring reverb. Grabs from songwriters such as Mac DeMarco, Dijon and Tom Jobim. In 'dont', I explored themes of longing and separation, both lyrically and sonically. With the constant muted thumping kick providing the track's heartbeat, the fragile vocals, vibrato-applied Stratocasters and Wurlitzer electric piano are the blood.
